Family History Escape is a virtual escape room, but rather than working to escape from a room, you are working to help deceased individuals discover their Family History.
Family History Escape is a virtual escape room, but rather than working to escape from a room, you are working to help deceased individuals escape from Spirit Prison by discovering their Family History. Each episode tells the story of an actual deceased individual and systematically leads you on a journey to find historical records to learn more about their life. Each episode is designed as a fun way to help you learn about different aspects of Family History, i.e. different types of Family History records. The app can be used if you are just learning Family History or are more experienced with Family History.
For each episode, you will have a set of tasks which must be completed in a specified time. Each task must be completed to find a code to unlock a chest before you can move on to the next task. Some of the tasks include puzzles to solve, including a decoder wheel, a word search, and a dominos train. Hints are available if you get stuck on a certain task.
Family History Escape can be performed by yourself, but can also be done with a group of friends with everyone working on their own device. Working as a group, you can help each other complete the Tasks by sharing ideas, clues, and results.
